SKETCHING

Sketching is an important tool for every artist so we will discuss the importance of this tool and include some art history with this mode of learning. Students in grades 1-6 will be sketching in the classroom throughout the school year to help them plan out and visualize their projects. This process is an important practice step in the development of artistic thinking and doing. There will be more to follow about incorporating preliminary sketching with projects at each grade level .
